Halle Berry the first black woman to win an Oscar and she is one of the most sexy Bond girls.

Die Another Day is her first outing since winning the Oscar - amid veritable geysers of tears - for her harrowing performance in Monster's Ball. It capped a solid  body of work that 34-year-old Berry's been building over the years, from the junkie in Spike Lee's Jungle Fever to the moll in last year's  Swordfish (for which it was rumoured that she was paid an extra 100.000 to go topless).

"Well every Bond woman is sexy, that's for sure, but that's not all that Jinx is. I read the script thoroughly and I was satisfied that Jinx is more than eye candy. The hommage to Ursula Andress is in there, definitely. And even attempting to recreate that bit of cinematic magic is probably career suicide."
